This Christmas, I decided to do as handmade as possible. Aside from the gifts for my 4 coworkers, I made everyone’s presents.
Oh, where shall I begin?
I didn’t take nearly enough pictures of these as I should have. Yes, I’m annoyed with myself about that.
These will likely be among the first things that I will sell it my Etsy store.
I made the most AMAZING tea towels for my mother, Mother-in-Law, sister, cousins and Great Aunt. At the time of writing, I’m not sure if they will like them, by I KNOW they will love them because I hand-picked them and handmade them. I got them custom printed from Spoonflower. GOSH, I use Spoonflower to make my clothing tags. I had no idea what I was missing out on by not getting some custom printed yardage.
I really want to get quite a few for myself, so I’m waiting on my mother to wash hers to see how they will soften up.
My cousin’s girlfriend asked for floor pillows.. Ask and you shall receive! I love these! They are 24″ square with white piping. I got the navy and gray materials from fabric.com. I was even able to get enough out of the yardage to make two smaller 14″ pillows for the couch. Going to make my sister some minky ones soon.
Most people don’t get dresses from me for Christmas, but my cousin asked really nicely, so this Myrtle will be on it’s way to her.
Did you make anything for anyone for Christmas? Let me know 😉
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays All
